Team10th is back at work. After leaving IAFF Executive Board meetings last week, our DVP Stephen Gilman is back in the 10th and hitting the streets for us. The DVP had a productive meeting with Modesto Firefighters L1289, CPF 3rd and 4th district leaders Jair Juarez and Vince Wells, and Stockton Firefighters President Mario Gardea. These meetings were followed by the DVP having the honor of swearing in their new L1289 board members.

Your DVP finished the day attending the L1289 Annual Crab Feed event and meeting the members of the 10th.

The DVP will be back at it next weekend. He will be meeting Oakland Firefighters L55 and others to discuss and resolve the issues within the Bay area before heading to Washinton, DC, to advocate for firefighters at the federal level.

Working and building relationships at the local, state, and federal level is who we are as a Union. The work we do on the streets doesn't stop there. Team10th and the DVP will always work to foster those relationships for past, current, and future firefighters of our IAFF.
